"Today was a fairytale."

After many months of anticipation, built up excitement and some pretty tedious planning, the Skrmetta/Davis Disney World wedding, in what feels like a blink of an eye, has come and gone. An experience that can't be put into words, the entire trip was beyond anything we could have imagined.

With the ice chest loaded down, Brad and I, along with Trey and Marie, embarked on our 10-hour drive to Orlando on Friday, Nov. 11.

We were pretty excited to finally arrive at our resort!

With not a minute to spare, the next several days were jam-packed full (and that may be an understatement). Park hopping from Hollywood Studios and Epcot to the Magic Kingdom, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Animal Kingdom, we rode it all and saw as much as we could fit in our trip.

Some may say I'm a bit of a planner. Gift or curse, whichever way you may see it, my apologies go out to my husband, his breakfast burrito and all who followed "the schedule" (next time we'll allot a few more minutes for breakfast).

After two days of park hopping, Nov. 14 arrived and at last it was Jacqueline's wedding day, which included, among other surprises, a carriage ride and a visit from the Fairy Godmother, Mickey Mouse and Minnie. Magical is the only word to describe it.

What a wonderful way for Brad and I to spend our second anniversary! From now on, we'll be able to share this special day with Jacqueline and Reed.

At the end of this trip, we all made a pact to travel back to Disney in 2013. Looks like we already have plans for our 4-year anniversary! Until then...

Have a magical day,
