Brad flew in from Dallas and met us at Tommy's. I'm sure the food was great but the martini's were even better. Be aware of the $90 appetizer special. I was definitely impressed with the atmosphere.
We turned in early, promising Ben that I'd stay up late the next night, a promise I fell short on. The next day began with a 9 a.m. hearty breakfast of Ponchatoula Sparklers (champagne and strawberry beer), music, Crawfish Monica, music, Crawfish Bread, music, sunburns, music, etc. See the pattern? After the Tom Petty finale and singing Free Fallin at the top of our lungs, we made our way to Superior Grill for a little Mexican food and margaritas. It was lights out before 10 p.m. but we had a great day!
Good morning New Orleans!
It's been a long time since Brad and I got to spend the day walking around The Quarter. Just getting a drink in this bar or that, walking into whatever store we please and eating here or there. We've made a tradition of going into the Goorin Bros. Hat Shop on Royal Street. His purchase pictured below across from one my favorite shops off of Royal, Fleurty Girl.
Until next year... Cheers!
